Mohawk Wiping Stains are perfect for any interior wooden surface and are available in 24 stock colors. Wiping Stains are ready to use, semi-transparent, pigment based stains that are fade resistant, easy to stir, non-settling formulas. Only one hour drying time is needed before a lacquer sealer coat can be sprayed. Wiping Stains are easy to control because there's less lapping and may be applied by spray, brush or cloth. Wiping Stains are an ideal uniforming stain when applied over dye stains. Virtually any finish can be applied over Wood Stain, lacquer, shellac, varnish, polyurethane, acrylics and many others.
